2011-2013 — Entrepreneurship & BMW
In 2011, I opened HOOPER IT SERVICES to be the IT support provider for the BMW regional office for Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama. But when that office relocated and the contract ended, I joined the IT staff of other organizations in Infrastructure Administrator and L2 Technical Support roles.
2014-2024 — Enterprise Support & Cybersecurity
Over a decade, I transitioned from managing servers and backups at a local financial institution to just over 9 years at Dell and Quest Software as a Tier 2 Senior Support Engineer. In that role, I analyzed hundreds of enterprise infrastructure environments and resolved more than 2,000 complex data protection cases for clients worldwide. Seeing so many architectures firsthand taught me that a business's most valuable asset is its data, and that a robust backup system is its only real safeguard. That is why in 2021 I consolidated that practical experience with a Master's in Cybersecurity from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
2025 — Modern Software & Cloud
In 2025, we relaunched HOOPER IT SERVICES with an approach that merges our solid infrastructure experience with the power of agentic web development. By prioritizing security from the design stage and implementing agile methodologies and specification-driven development, we deliver robust, scalable, secure, and accessible solutions for businesses of all sizes.
